Eric Schneider

Eric is a seasoned structured products and specialty finance investor with over 20 years of experience in trading and investment management. He acquired BasePoint in 2020 following years as a participant in its financing programs. As Chief Executive Officer, he drives the firm’s investment decisions, deal sourcing, and borrower relationships. Prior to BasePoint, Eric co-founded OCO Capital Partners and built Omega Advisors’ structured credit business. Prior to Omega, he held senior trading roles at Morgan Stanley. He holds a B.A. in Economics, cum laude with High Distinction, from Yale University.
